The new Cressi Origin fin has been carefully studied, seeking high flutter efficiency with a medium touch. This makes it have a very balanced behaviour and different from many of its competitors, which gives it its own character.
At first, and being a fin that bends under the push, it gives us a false sensation of little strength but nothing could be further from the truth. Thanks to its short blade design and wide foot pocket, the force we apply in the stroke is multiplied and the push has an undertow in its favour which gives us a very pleasant advance. We flutter smoothly while we move efficiently.
In addition, thanks to its design, it facilitates all kinds of flutters, fluttering backwards becomes very simple and of course any other type of manoeuvre.
The lightest version is surely the one that will fit most users, powerful, smooth, light and manageable. The negative version, which is only slightly negative, is somewhat harder and is a more appropriate choice for those users who carry high loads of equipment... twin-stage tanks, rebreather, etc... as it offers us extra thrust.
