Dive into the depths and thrust yourself with complete safety with the Cressi Gara Impulse diving fins. This impressive edition of the Gara, courtesy of the Cressi Specialized line, takes these fins to new heights of performance to give you increased swimming power and hydrodynamics.

The most revolutionary aspect of the redesign applied to the Gara Impulse Fins is a decreasing-thickness polypropylene blade - from 4 mm at the base to 2 mm at the edge - that increases the acceleration generated with less pedaling effort. A novel 29º angulation gives you a wider pedaling cone and is useful for demanding swimming moments, such as ascending to the surface or ballast-assisted descents.

The Gara Impulse’s fin edge design received a retouch to increase pedaling stability, thanks to two thermoplastic rubber spoilers spoilers that reduce the blade’s arc. These fins’ foot pocket keeps its double material construction philosophy - 75º shore thermoplastic rubber in the ribs and 65º semi-flexible rubber in the body – with an anatomical shape that wraps around your foot for reduced energy loss.

Divers with high insteps will also be pleased to know that the Gara Impulse includes a self-adjusting band in this area to expand the foot pocket by 2 to 4 mm according to the user´s needs. New version of fins with a high-reactivity-modulus polypropylene blade and new design with decreasing thickness (from 4 mm to 2 mm) and a new distribution of the reinforcements, which makes the arc very progressive, avoiding the tendency to skid, since the first half of the set is more rigid and the final half more flexible.

Blade with angulation of 29º against the traditional 21 to 23º. This angulation allows a flapping with the foot in a completely relaxed position and makes flapping soft and comfortable but highly effective both for surface movements and to overcome situations of great resistance to advance such as rising from the bottom, strong sea or the start of the descent with adjusted ballast.

The design of the end of the blade is slightly conical and integrates two spoilers in subtle thermoplastic rubber. This feature, together with the calculated progression of the blade flexing arc, makes the flapping stability of Impulse perfect.

The Modular foot holder has the longest fin anchoring horns. This guarantees a better transmission of energy between the fin and the horns and the blade due to the greater contact surface between the two elements.

It allows for better control and maneuverability of the fin, especially when used in rough seas, especially in breaking waves and fast stalking fishing with frequent changes of direction.

It improves the resistance of the fin to possible blows or extreme and/or atypical bending that can cause the blade to break or chip.

It increases the starting power of the fin, especially important in bottom or surface starting situations with negative buoyancy when moving forward.

Although this foot pocket apparently offers us more features over the fin, it also has a handicap...

by increasing the mass of the rubber of the fin attached to the blade, it partially cushions the rebound of the carbon. This point would only be negative in case of using the fin in ideal conditions for progress such as dynamic apnea DYN or CWT or fishing with long journeys at medium or low depths in which the fluidity of the finning is especially valued and the saving of fatigue is taken into account. Likewise, in fishing with variable weight.
