Big Blue offers the option to purchase just the head of some flashlights and spotlights. This allows you to use the battery compartment from another flashlight you already own (with a compatible compartment) to power this other type of head. This is extremely useful when choosing the right head based on the type of diving you'll be doing and/or water conditions.
