Exclusive Cressi rubber bands, 100% manufactured and assembled in Spain. They have been meticulously studied for use in high-level and competitive fishing. Their composition, hardness, and thickness are the result of countless tests on different prototypes, and the final product meets the requirements of elite anglers, using all types of spearguns and any type of rod.
Its spectacular power is due in part to the hardness of its composition (Shore 42 compared to the usual 38 to 40) and its 18 mm diameter compared to 16 mm/15 mm for standard rubber bands. Their composition, diameter, and the small diameter of the longitudinal cannula provide great pressure resistance, also making them ideal for deep-sea fishing.
The bushings are made of DELRIN for superior strength and ease of threading.
Latex: Pure Malaysian latex without any fillers or impurities in its composition, containing only the dye additive that transforms it into an opaque black (just one gram dyes 5 kg of latex). No fillers are added to its composition to avoid damaging the latex's natural recovery speed and elasticity. Once coagulated, the latex is dried naturally (in the open air) for a minimum of 40 days.
Its pure composition gives it outstanding elasticity, which translates into a homogeneous rod follow-through, thus increasing shot range, inertia, and penetration capacity, with reduced loading difficulty compared to other lower-performance rubbers. This elasticity makes it easy to use short rubbers (depending, of course, on the angler's taste and ability), increasing the rubber's thrust travel on the rod, a factor that gives it a clear advantage over traditional rubbers, especially those with larger diameters.
Extremely resistant to UV rays, salt water, and ozone, it can withstand intensive use for long periods of time without loss of performance.
Exclusive straight tube manufacturing: Unlike other manufacturers, Cressi latex rubber bands are perfectly straight, as they are produced in short, one-meter-long strips instead of long rolls, which involve lower manufacturing costs but always have a curved longitudinal section.
Matching: This is a very manual and time-consuming process, but it significantly impacts the performance of the rubber bands. The rubber pairs are made taking into account both length and hardness, ensuring that they are as similar as possible to avoid differences in contraction speed during shooting, which could be detrimental to accuracy. Thus, the difference in hardness within a single pair is a maximum of +/- 1 edge, and the difference in length is +/- 0.1 mm.
Finishes: Always perfect, completely rounded finishes, avoiding traditional defects that prevent easy threading of the rubber due to excess thread diameter.
Sizes: Produced in sizes designed for spearguns with barrels measuring 60 cm, 75 cm, 90 cm, 100 cm, 110 cm, and 120 cm.
Packaging: Supplied with white latex screen printing to identify the item and vacuum-wrapped for easier display in the store and insulation from the outside.
