The Buddyswim neoprene swim hood is designed to keep your head and neck warm during open water swim sessions. Made with 2.5mm Trilaminate Warmth, a three-layer neoprene composition developed by Buddyswim to offer optimal protection and flexibility. Designed to go under the wetsuit and provide great thermal insulation for the head, face and neck. It can also be worn under a wetsuit cap for maximum thermal protection in colder waters.

THREE-LAYER THERMAL TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to the exclusive 2.5mm Trilaminate Warmth three-layer fabric, optimal thermal protection of the head and neck is achieved during open water swimming sessions.

MAXIMUM PROTECTION AGAINST THE COLD

The neck, chest and back area prevents the entry of water and improves the protection of the head, face and neck against the cold water.

SCUBA DIVING USE

Its thickness of 2.5mm makes it perfect for keeping our head and, above all, our ears, protected from water and suspended particles that could cause otitis, especially on diving trips where we are under water many times a day for many consecutive days. Its skirt fits perfectly inside the suit, making the suit-hood assembly much more watertight and therefore allowing greater thermal comfort despite using thin neoprene.

WATER TEMPERATURE RANGE

Depending mainly on the swimming time, the existing weather situation and the personal preferences of each swimmer, the recommended water temperature range for the Trilaminate Warmth 2.5mm hood is from 8°C to 19°C.

MAINTENANCE

To have your neoprene hood always ready, preserve its properties and prolong its life for longer, we recommend that you follow these simple steps for washing and maintenance.

1. Rinse with fresh water after each use to remove any traces of salt water or chlorine.

2. You can wash it in the shower with neutral pH soap and rinse it well afterwards to remove any soap residue.

3. Turn the hood inside out and let it dry inside out in the shade, preferably outdoors or in a place with good ventilation.
