To use the Insta360 X4 with the housing, you need to set the “underwater case” mode: enter the quick menu by scrolling down on the touchscreen, find the “Dive Case Mode” option and activate it. This will give you access to the main controls - on/off, record/pause, mode change - and the stitching software will work optimally during dives.

For best performance, we recommend using it with Boat Hook or DPV Strap + Quick Release Buckle Tray Kit for DPV + Carbonarm 34 + ball clamp + M6 ball (to be mounted on the housing).

Warning: during transport, leave the housings partially closed and not completely sealed. Pressure variations (particularly during air travel, but not only) may generate internal depression which, if the housing were hermetically sealed, would make opening extremely difficult.
