The PSI Dryglove System is the latest dryglove system from Pacific Scuba Industries, in conjunction with fourth element. Made from anodized aluminium, the PSI Dryglove System is a high quality and intuitive dryglove system

This PSI system option is suitable for mounting thick Showa or similar gloves over 2mm on the fixed ring Si-Tech PU sleeves (ref. 60420) used in QCP Round (Quick Cuff)

What are its advantages?

  • The PSI Dryglove System is very easy to use and operate. By using a simple ‘push and twist’ method, divers can quickly and securely fasten their drygloves to their suit. And if you need to replace a silicone seal at the dive site, you can pop out the system and replace the seal without specialist equipment.

How does the system work, how do I install it?

  • The PSI Dryglove System uses an intuitive and easy ‘push and twist’ installation method to attach drygloves. By lining up the marks on the aluminium rings and twisting, the system is locked into place. To remove the drygloves, simply twist back to re-align the marks, and remove.

This system is compatible with the Si-Tech PU ring (part number 60420) as used in QCP Round (Quick Cuff) - best suited for customers with very large hands.

Contains retaining rings for THIN drygloves (e.g. Marigolds)

Intuitive and simple, the PSI Press Lock Dryglove system ensures that warmer, drier hands are just a twist away.

Developed for diving in the cold waters of Canada, made from robust yet lightweight anodised aluminium, the Press Lock system is the most intuitive, secure and reliable dryglove system available.

The bayonet style fitting is easy to use, matching up coloured dots, in a similar way to mounting lenses on a camera, and with a quarter of a turn, the gloves are locked in place. The system is supplied in a zipped protective case.

The system can be retrofitted into an existing Si-Tech PU ring, which is used for the QCP Round dryglove system. Please note that this system is recommended for users with large hands.

HOW TO USE

  • The sleeve and glove rings have red markings clearly visible. Match up the red markings on the glove rings and the suit sleeve, twist, and you are all set to enjoy warmer dives. It really is that simple.
  • To remove the drygloves, twist to match the dots and gently pull the rings apart.

MATERIALS

  • The Press Lock rings are constructed from hardwearing anodised aluminium.
  • The set includes o-ring grease and a pry-tool to help remove o-rings when replacing gloves.

IMPORTANT

  • The PSI Press Lock system requires the Si-Tech PU rings to be installed on the sleeves of your drysuit in order to work. It will not work with neoprene or glued latex wrists seals, or other proprietary wrist seals systems. If you are in doubt, please ask your dealer, or drop us a line at argonaut@fourthelement.com

What’s the difference between ‘Standard’ and ‘XL’?

We offer a total of four different PSI Dryglove System sets, split into two different sizes.

The ‘Standard’ PSI Dryglove System sets are compatible with the same PU-ring which is used in several popular modular wrist seal systems such as Si-Tech QCS Oval, and Fourth Element Ellipse. We offer two variations of the ‘Standard’ set, one which contains retaining rings to accommodate thick drygloves and one to accommodate thinner drygloves, such as Marigolds.

The ‘XL’ PSI Dryglove System sets are compatible with the larger, round ring as used in the Si-Tech QCP modular system. We recommend the ‘XL’ sets only for customers with very large hands. Again, we offer two variations, one with retaining rings for thick drygloves and one with retaining rings for thinner dryglove.
