The Sea Dragon 5000+ photo-video light SL680 is a powerful underwater image light that delivers more than 5000 lumens in an even 120° wide beam.
The light offers a 90 CRI (colour rendering index) with a patented COB LED array that mimics natural sunlight.
The Sea Dragon 5000+ features SeaLife's Color Boost™ mode, the photo-video light combines red and white light frequencies to produce a warming underwater effect that increases brilliance and adds colour to underwater photos and videos. The Sea Dragon 5000+ has been tested at depths of up to 100 metres. The new light also has a 6000-lumen mode, with or without Color Boost, for a period of two minutes - after which the light reverts to the 5000-lumen mode to save energy.
Switch to Easy Mode at the touch of a button:

Other brands of underwater LED lights offer a much lower CRI and lack the essential color components needed to capture natural, colorful underwater photos and videos. When switched on, the Sea Dragon 5000+ delivers 5,000 lumens of white light with a color temperature of 5,000 K. Activating SeaLife's Color Boost™ warms the color temperature to 3,700 K and restores lost red for a more balanced effect, especially when shooting at long distances. The Sea Dragon 5000+ also features a full-power mode that generates 6,000 lumens for two minutes, with or without Color Boost™, after which it automatically reduces to 5,000 lumens to control color temperature and energy consumption. Accessing Color Boost™ is simple: just press the function button once. Divers can choose between 3000 lumens, 1500 lumens, and an invisible red light mode (this mode uses two red LEDs that allow for night diving without disturbing marine life).
The Sea Dragon 5000+ also includes an "advanced mode" with more brightness and color settings, and more Color Boost™ options. The light defaults to "easy mode," with five lighting options. Users can easily switch to "advanced mode" by pressing and holding the center button on the light for eight seconds when it is off. The light also features an emergency signal mode: with the light off, pressing and holding the center button for four seconds activates emergency mode, providing over 40 hours of runtime and emitting a flashing SOS signal. Pressing the button again activates a flashing light that blinks every second.
The 5000+ is smaller and lighter than the previous 5000-lumen model. The light head includes a standard YS adapter, a YS Flex-Connect™ adapter, and a 1” ball head adapter, allowing you to easily expand your setup with arms, handles, mounts, and other attachments compatible with these systems. It features negative buoyancy underwater.
The Sea Dragon 5000+, with its powerful 50W removable lithium-ion battery, offers one hour of runtime with Color Boost™ at full power. The light includes an AC battery charger, international plug adapters, and a rugged travel case.
